Purpose:
The St. Louis Metro Square and Round Dance Association ("Metro") will make available grants money to member clubs and affiliated organizations for the purpose of promoting square and/or round dance through attracting and teaching dancers.

Scope:
The promotion grants may include, but are not limited to, promoting and advertising dance lessons, providing tuition scholarships to new dancers, paying for facilities in which to hold lessons, paying for callers/cuers to teach lessons.

1. |
A
promotion grant is available to any Metro member club or
affiliated organization ("club") in the amount of $200.00
effective for calendar year 2020. This grant program will be
reviewed by Metro on an annual basis. |

The club
will submit a short proposal to the Metro Executive
Committee as to the amount being requested and proposed
usage of the funds. |

The
Executive Committee will review the request and inform the
club of its decision in a timely manner. |

Executive Committee may discuss the claim via email, phone
call or in-person meeting. |
4. |
Upon
approval of the request, the club will proceed with their
proposed plans using club funds. The club will then gather
receipts, or similar documentation, and submit them to the
Metro Treasurer. The Treasurer will then issue a check to
the club for reimbursement up to the maximum grant amount. |
5. |
The Metro
Treasurer will keep records of grant money approved and
issued. |
6. |
Grant money does not need
to be repaid.
