Mary Lee Brizendine
 January 16, 1941 ~ March 21, 2022

Mary Lee (Meisenheimer) Brizendine, 81, of California, Mo., passed away peacefully on Monday, March 21, 2022, at home surrounded by family.

Mary was born January 16, 1941, the daughter of Carl and Alice (McBroom) Meisenheimer, who preceded her in death.

She was married on February 21, 1960 in California, Missouri to Rollie Dean Brizendine, who preceded her in death on March 3, 2017.

She was a 1959 graduate of California High School.

Mary worked at Cargill as an Accounting Manager, retiring in 1998 after working 30 plus years. After retiring from Cargill, Mary worked part-time in Dr. Vanderfeltz's office for several years.

Mary was active in her church, the United Church of Christ, serving on various committees and as a past consistory member. She loved her family, and especially loved going to her grandson's baseball games. She liked family gatherings and loved to cook. All the family enjoyed her pies, especially coconut cream. She was a long time member of the Eight Ball Squares and the Captial City Squares square dance clubs which she and Rollie enjoyed very much.

Survivors include: One son, Rich Brizendine and his wife Stacy and two grandsons, Zack and Seth Brizendine, all of Trophy Club, Texas; two brothers, Carl Meisenheimer (Juanita) and Richard Meisenheimer (Mary) and two sisters, Katie Schlup and Grace Fennewald, all of California, Missouri; brother-in-law, Bob Brizendine and wife Ruth; sister in-law, Linda Brizendine; and several nieces and nephews and extended family.

Visitation will be Wednesday, March 23, 2022 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM at Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services, California, Missouri.

Funeral Services, California, Mo. Funeral Services will be on Thursday, March 24 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home with Rev. Russell Cobb officiating.

Memorials are suggested to the United Church of Christ in California, Missouri, c/o the funeral home.
