Theodosia, Missouri

William "Bill" Sherrill, 76, of Theodosia, Missouri died Saturday, February 23, 2019 in Cox Health Branson. The time and date for a celebration of life service will be announced at a later date.

William Joel Sherrill was born Wednesday, September 23, 1942 in Licking, Missouri to Lester and Berda Pearl (Saylors) Sherrill. He attended school in Licking and went to the Licking High School. While in Licking, he met Margaret Seidmeyer. They were married November 17, 1962 in Salem, Arkansas. Bill and Margaret moved to Fenton, Missouri where he was employed by Chrysler Automotive Assembly. Bill's great passion was teaching and calling square dancing. He was a 'take charge' man with a booming voice, big smile and great sense of humor. He was very devoted and caring to his family and a long list of friends. In his spare time, he was a Ham Radio buff, golfer, fisherman and was very fond of boating. He was a member of the Amateur Radio Club, Theodosia Country Club and was of the Baptist Faith.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret of Theodosia, two sons, Ron Sherrill and wife, Robin of Forsyth, Don Sherrill and wife, Paula of St. Louis, Missouri ; a sister, Donna Foste and husband, Ben of Lincoln, Missouri ; five grandchildren, Christina, Jonathan, Samantha, Timmothy and Jessica and one great-grandson, Josiah Cones.

He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Gary Sherrill.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Kissee-Schofield-Eakins Funeral Home, Forsyth, Missouri 417.546.6250.
