From: Boundaries & Relations Committee
for Missouri Federation of Square 'n Round Dance Clubs
To: All Missouri Federation Member Clubs
We are sending out this letter because, with losing a few more clubs in 2019 and 2020, it has caused some districts to have one or just a few clubs in their districts. We are asking each club to get a census with your club on whether or not your club would be willing to change districts, if need be, to find a solution for this problem.
Remember that your club changing districts does not change where or when you dance. The main change that it will create, is you will possibly have further travel to a district meeting. The main benefit will be having enough people in your district to host a state dance.
We are not sure how to change the districts at this point. There will still be a lot of discussion. We just want to make sure that everyone is on board.
We would like to encourage you to let us know your thoughts directly or through your district representation, no later than May 16th, so the committee can meet and have a report for our next state meeting.
